God's Strength Is Enough

God loves to bless people. This simple statement contains an eternal truth about God's nature. God is generous. He gives eternal life. He pours out unmerited favor. He provides daily mercies. There is no question that we serve a good God.

But what about those times when you do not feel blessed? What about the lingering illness, financial instability, overwhelming bills, or a family crisis that seems to have no end? Does God still care in moments like these?

The answer is an emphatic yes.

Whether our struggles are the result of our own choices or circumstances beyond our control, God cares deeply for His children. His love is not measured by the ease of our circumstances but by His faithful presence in the midst of them.

One of the most frequently misquoted verses in Scripture is Philippians 4:13:
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

Paul is not speaking about achieving personal success or accomplishing every dream. He is describing how Christ gives him strength to endure every circumstance.

No matter what I am facing, Christ will give us the strength to remain faithful. Whether life is filled with blessings or burdens, His grace is sufficient.

God's strength—not our own—is what carries us through. Trusting in any other source of power ultimately leads to disappointment. But those who place their confidence in the Lord will never be abandoned.

So whatever you are facing today, whether seasons of joy or seasons of hardship, remember that God is still on His throne. Trust Him, for He truly cares for you.

As the psalmist declared:

Psalm 20:7
"Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God."

Our victory is not found in our circumstances, our abilities, or our resources.

Our victory is found in God alone.

With Gratitude, Pastor Jesse
