SUNDAY CHILDREN’S MINISTRIES

For the 2026-27 year we Dig-In to the Heart of God with our Kids Church program

Children 3 years old through 7th grade are dismissed during the service after announcements for Sunday Children’s Ministries in the Cafe. Children attend service with their familes for worship and announcements before children’s ministries.

  • Through the high quality Heart of God program through Dig-In, we offer weekly Bible teaching with games, crafts, activity pages, and take home handouts that deepen the Bible lesson. We encourage the children to fellowship and develop intentional relationships with each other and their teachers.

  • Offered on select weeks during the year, this program goes deeper in the Bible lesson and teaches kids more about God’s heart for us. Kids also play games and fellowship with leaders and kids in the children’s and youth programs.

  • The Nest is our parent room for 0-2 year olds and their parents (not drop-off) available during the Sunday service. Parents are able to watch the service live streamed while their littlest ones play in a safe room.

All teachers, leaders, and ministry helpers serving with children and youth at Christ Chapel have been attending at least 6 months and are background checked and SafePlace trained.

MISSION OF the CHILDREN’S ministries at Christ Chapel:  

  • Educate children about who God is and how much he deeply loves them.  

  • Teach children about who they are in Christ and bring children to Christ through the gospel message of salvation and living as Christ-followers.

  • For children to develop intentional relationships with other children and children’s ministry teachers through play, fellowship, and small group discussions.
