Rhythms of Life

The rhythms of nature are both constant and ever-changing.
Spring arrives, and with it comes the quiet certainty that warmer days are ahead. What we wore, what we ate, how we lived through winter—all of it begins to give way to something new. A different wardrobe. A lighter table. A renewed way of living.

We don’t resist it. We adjust. We embrace it. We learn to live in step with the new rhythm.

So it is in the spiritual life.

There are seasons of the Spirit just as there are seasons in nature. Each one carries its own purpose. Each one calls for preparation. What sustained us in one season may not be what is required in the next.

To keep in step with the Spirit requires three things: connection, sensitivity, and adaptability.

Connection keeps us rooted in the vine, where true nourishment is found.
Sensitivity helps us discern the season—what God is doing, and how He is moving.
Adaptability gives us the willingness to change, to lay aside what was, and to step into what is coming.

The seasons are changing.

Not just around us—but within us.

The question is not whether change is coming. It is whether we will recognize it… and move with it.

Do you sense it?

With Gratitude, Pastor Jesse
