In the Great Triumphant Morning

Everyone loves a good victory. Your favorite team wins. You sweep a category on Jeopardy!. Whatever the circumstance, a victory is a victory—and we love to win. It’s built into all of us. In fact, the only time I don’t mind losing is when I intentionally lose just to see my kids celebrate a win.

As Christians, we need to remind ourselves that we are victorious. That truth can easily get buried under the constant bombardment of daily responsibilities, life’s unending stresses, and the upheavals of our world. This temporary life has a way of blinding us to the eternal victory that awaits.

So remember—no matter how dark the night, morning is coming. Your victory in Christ is secure. Nothing in this world has the power or ability to steal triumph from you! As the Apostle Paul reminds us, nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus.

We win! Let us walk through this life with that assurance. We may not win every battle, but in the end, we win the war. Christ will return. The dead in Christ will rise. The living will join Him in the air—and we will forever be with the Lord!

With Gratitude, Pastor Jesse
