Vindication Will Come
Scripture invites us to look to Jesus.
I wonder what He felt as He hung alone on the cross. The crowds mocked. Heads wagged in disbelief. Voices laughed in scorn. It must have looked, to everyone watching, like failure. Yet Jesus knew His mission. He had already surrendered His will in the Garden. He walked to the cross obedient, resolute, and trusting the Father—fully aware that vindication was coming.
The cross was not the end of the story. The resurrection proved every claim Jesus made about Himself. Death was defeated. Truth stood tall. Vindication came, and with it, victory.
The Apostle Paul reminds us not to lose heart. Nothing—no accusation, no rejection, no injustice—can separate us from Christ. Even when the world misunderstands and mocks the Christian life, we are not abandoned. God sees. God knows. God remembers.
If you are walking through a season of false accusation or quiet injustice, take heart. When Christ, your Redeemer, returns, you will be vindicated. What you believed, what you proclaimed, and the life you lived in faith will be made plain for all to see.
And until that day, we follow the example of Jesus. In the midst of wrongful accusation, His prayer was not self-defense, but forgiveness.
“Father, forgive them.”
May our hearts be shaped by that same grace. May compassion replace bitterness. May trust overcome frustration. Vindication will come—but today, may our heart’s cry be forgiveness.
With Gratitude, Pastor Jesse
