Healer of Every Hurt
Psalm 103:3 – “…who heals all your diseases.”
When we hear the word healing, our minds often go straight to physical sickness, pain, and recovery. It’s natural. We've all faced illness in one form or another. The COVID-19 pandemic made this truth painfully real. In those uncertain days, many of us came to know Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals, not just as a name, but as a lifeline.
But God's healing reaches far deeper than the body.
“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
—Psalm 147:3
God’s healing touch is not confined to flesh and bone. He is the healer of shattered hearts and tormented minds. He reaches into the private, invisible places where no doctor can go; places of grief, loss, anxiety, fear, and trauma, and speaks peace. For those crushed beneath the weight of sorrow or worn thin by life’s relentless trials, our God offers restoration.
“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He chose for His inheritance.”
—Psalm 33:12
And God does not stop at the individual. His healing extends to entire nations. The God who formed the earth is also the One who governs it. He blesses the people who call on His name. When a nation turns its heart toward Him—seeking righteousness and truth—He brings healing to its soul, guidance to its leaders, and peace within its borders.
Whether the need is physical, emotional, spiritual, or even national—the most beautiful truth about God’s healing is this: He is willing.
He does not need to be persuaded. He is not hesitant or distant. His heart is moved with compassion for His people. He draws near to the broken. So whatever kind of healing you seek today—body, mind, heart, or home—run to the Healer. Lay your burdens at His feet. Submit your ways to Him, and He will draw near with mercy, grace, and the power to make all things new.
Jehovah Rapha is still at work. And He is still willing.
With Gratitude, Pastor Jesse
