*Nominations for elders and deacons must be submitted and be approved by the present Governance Authority prior to the Annual Meeting in order for it to be a valid nomination.
Nominations from the floor require prior permission from those being nominated.
Bylaw Article XIV – 7. Any election for the positon of Elder or Deacon shall require a two-thirds positive vote of the votes cast at the annual meeting.
The Governing Board will consist of 14 members: Senior Pastor, Youth Pastor, Elders (3), Secretary, Treasurer, Christian Education Director, Deacon/Deaconess Chair, Trustee Chair, Missions Chair, and Members-at-large (3).
Article XIV. In consideration of elections, the nominating committee shall present at least one name for each office to be filled. Other nominations may be made from the membership. The officers shall be elected by ballot at the annual meeting. Where only one name is presented, the ballot may be waived by a unanimous vote.
